Note: Low shelf life oils have more monoterpenes and less ketone and phenols. The oils that have a very long shelf life have more Sesquiterpene and more esters and low aldehyde. By infusing the bottles or putting an infused sticker on it, it can increase the shelf life of my oil also. Putting the sticker under a banana or avocado can show an example of how the banana ripens (or rots) at a different speed than one that doesn't have the infused sticker under it.
I only carry oils from current harvests. I do not use nor sell oils that are older than a year. If it's not the current harvest I won't use it. There are some rarer low yielding CBD oils that are greenhouse grown that I will only make the exception if there are no field summer grown versions available.

about 80 to 90% of the constituents are denatured by this time.
Note: Many of these oils will start to ferment and some oils can turn a reddish brown so when they say oils last forever that is not true. CBD oils DO have a shelf life. I know to throw the oils away when the oils change color like this.
CBD is best kept refrigerated to hold up the constituent integrity. There are so many private label companies that are buying from the main 3 to 5 companies that highly discount their CBD oils and I doubt most of them put their CBD in coolers or better yet, in the summer months ship it on dry ice (oh and most ship by USPS and when I ask if they ship to all 50 states they say yes. I ask how it's shipped and they say they do a post office run each day. So, I am supposed to trust this company when they had no idea that anything that gets shipped to certain states are irradiated.
MORE IMPORTANT THAN OLD INVENTORY.
If not coming directly from the CBD extraction plants to the brand owners, then I won't use it. There is no telling what can happen after it is sold wholesale to any dealers. They could have stored it in their hot trunk in the summer and never in the fridge, they could have the "winter lab stock" and even if there is a lab certificate on that batch, putting it into the hands of someone outside the manufacturer always runs the risk of the CBD oils being cut and re-sealed.
I sell CBD oil but only get it dropshipped directly from the manufacturers for those that are concerned. I always get the freshest supply. I do have dealers that buy in large bulk that I work with but they must be selling the same fresh batch number supply that is currently being sold through the manufacturer.
