Caution: Many brands I used that had the highest strength were less bioavailable and had did not have a full spectrum. I consider it a red flag when a company sells a high dosage strength really cheap.
I know which CBD brands are strong because they were over cooked and which have a stronger concentration even with lower yielding batches at lower temperatures (under 140 degrees). Anything over 140 is what I consider too high. I want a full spectrum range of constituents over a higher dosage any day. Full spectrum CBD oils that are not as strong versus very strong concentrations with low to broad varieties of hemp strains makes a huge difference. I would rather have more therapeutic constituents over a bottle that just has more of the same ones in it.
I can get brands that are higher in strength for those that want it and those brands will be much cheaper on the broad spectrum. Let me know on my CBD oil quiz and based on the answers I will pick out a brand.
When comparing strength levels it is also important to consider the temperature and pressured used.
The strongest dosage brands that are usually sold the cheapest are the ones I watch out for. These can be done at high temperatures and high pressures that can deactivate the constituents and denature them. The lower the temperature the more it will prevent the cannabinoids from being denatured. I don't care how strong the dosage is in the bottle if the terpenes have been deactivated.
Note: there is a Colorado lab that will test any CBD product that is sent to them for $40. They will let you know if the CBD content is accurate that is on the label. I had to send in CBD oil from each company and different batches to see which ones were legit and which were lying. I will not mention names but the ones that were "privately labeled" were the ones that failed almost each time. Some of the CBD oils were close to the label on the bottle and some were less than half of what the CBD oil label claimed.
So many people have a connection these days from some local place. 100s of new private label distributors are popping up each month right now. I only promote companies that have a lab analysis and if it comes directly from the manufacturer or a dealer if the same batch is the current fresh batch. I cannot guarantee if private label dealers put their oils in the fridge and store in amber or violet bottles. I even ask companies to take a picture with today's date newspaper right this second of their supply but so far no one has done it. For those doing reviews, I have a separate fridge I bought just for CBD oils. I have boxes and use dry ice in the summer to ship. I don't see anyone else doing this. I am just tired of the bullshit and having to police this whole industry so I had to find my own connections and do this myself. I guess now I am in the business. I never planned on doing this. I was just trying to find the best one for myself. It actually worked out great! Those who just buy from someone who sells the cheapest even if it is the same brand I carry, there is no guarantee they are consistent with caring for their oils unless it is shipped directly from the manufacturer or they can prove they care for their supply. I urge people to use the state of the art Colorado lab to test any oil they buy.
