Orally CBD
Most people the first time they take CBD or CBDa is by mouth. Usually after people know that CBD has helped them then they usually go for vaping next.
Those with poor body ecology who do not have have good gut flora usually don't metabolize CBD taken orally as well. The goal is to have the CBD or CBDa hit the circulation system. But if it has to go through the stomach first and mix with digestive juices and enzymes before it reaches the bloodstream, many of the benefits can be lessened.
The best way I've found to make CBD more absorbable in the body is to eat a big fatty meal. The oil that is in the CBD will not get metabolized the same way as if the CBD oil was taken by itself. If taken orally it goes from saliva to the soft tissues of the mouth into the bloodstream.
Note: orally takes longer for the CBD to work but it can have a longer effect unlike vaping it has a shorter effect but is the type that works much quicker for those looking for a fast result as soon as possible. Vaping it gets the CBD into the bloodstream much quicker but is eliminated from the body much quicker also. Most people that vape tend to take more doses per day.
Many people prefer taking a larger dosage strength of CBD orally so the CBD can release slowly into the blood. Usually the effect of orally taken CBD lasts about 5 to 7 hours unlike vaping it. The concentration of the CBD in the blood will never be as high as vaping but the lower amount that stays in the blood lasts longer.
Note: those who choose to take CBD orally should usually experience shorter concentrations of CBD over a longer time. Those looking to get more benefits from reducing inflammation usually take CBD rectally as that is what most people say works better. If I had inflammation in my gut I would probably take CBD rectally.
